Both the school and the international student will be able to understand the process of enrolling in ACCOLA Japanese Academy in advance, which will speed up the enrollment process.

For those who are interested in studying Japanese, we provide support from visa applications to traveling to Japan and enrolling in school.

Decide which courses and when to enroll

It is important that you decide which course and when to enroll based on your Japanese language proficiency, so we recommend that you determine your level.If you are not sure what level you are at, please contact our dedicated student contact center.

Apply

When filling out the application form, please take your time and be thorough – any incorrect information may prevent you from meeting your admission date.

Screening + Interview

Based on the data from your application form, we will conduct a document review within approximately two business days.If you pass the review, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

Immigration status review

Only those who successfully pass the interview will prepare the necessary documents to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility with the school and submit them to the Immigration Bureau. It takes about two months to receive the results.

Pay for tuition

Upon successful completion of the Certificate of Eligibility, you will be required to pay one year’s tuition and dormitory fees.Upon payment confirmation, we will send the original Certificate of Eligibility and a letter of acceptance to the applicant.You can obtain a visa by submitting the arrived documents to the Japanese Embassy in the applicant’s country.

Please be sure to contact the school once you have successfully obtained your visa.Based on that information, the school will send you a notification of your entry date by email.

Refund policy

I will accept a refund in accordance with the school’s policy as outlined below.
You have been issued a Certificate of Eligibility but have not applied for an entry visa (student visa).
Payments, excluding the entrance exam and admission fee, will be refunded (including costs associated with housing).
However, if the original admission letter and the original Certificate of Eligibility are not returned to the school promptly, they will not be returned.

If you applied for an entry visa (student visa) at an overseas diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate), but it was not recognized and you cannot visit Japan
Payments, excluding the entrance exam and admission fee, will be refunded (including costs associated with housing).
However, it will not be returned unless the original letter of admission to this school and the original Certificate of Eligibility for Residence are returned and proof is provided that an entry visa (study abroad visa) has not been issued by an overseas diplomatic mission.

You have obtained an entry visa (student visa) but withdrew from school before visiting Japan.
After the entry permit (student visa) is confirmed to be unused and invalid, the payment will be returned except for the costs related to the entrance examination fee and dormitory fee.
However, if the original admission letter and the original Certificate of Eligibility are not returned to the school promptly, they will not be returned.

A student who visited Japan and enrolled after obtaining an entry visa (student visa) drops out of school.
All payments (including those related to room and board) are non-refundable.

You came to Japan with a student visa, but did not enroll in school.
It is considered the equivalent of a dropout and is subject to the provisions of Section 4.
Please note that in any case, the applicant will be responsible for all fees associated with the return, regardless of whether it is domestic or international.
