Are there any differences between the 1.5 and 2-year courses?
The main difference is the total number of class hours: the 1.5-year course totals 1,200 hours and the 2-year course totals 1,600 hours.
In both courses, the goal is to acquire Japanese language skills at the N1 level of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) by graduation.
I would like to take the JLPT Level N1 while I am still in school, but can you provide test preparation?
In advanced classes, the curriculum for passing N1 is included in the class.
Is the dormitory a private room, and what is the mode of transportation from the dormitory to the school?
The default is a 4-person room, but the maximum is 5, depending on the number of people in the dorm.
And the preferred mode of transportation is bicycle.
