The main difference is the total number of class hours: the 1.5-year course totals 1,200 hours and the 2-year course totals 1,600 hours.
In both courses, the goal is to acquire Japanese language skills at the N1 level of the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) by graduation.

In advanced classes, the curriculum for passing N1 is included in the class.

The default is a 4-person room, but the maximum is 5, depending on the number of people in the dorm.
